| Need An Inspection? |
|
| A Hillview home inspection is the best way for a buyer to gain valuable information concerning a home's current condition. Professional pre-purchase inspections allow a Buyer to investigate any possible issues before taking ownership of a property. Our report will define and itemize any issues in an orderly manner and will be delivered immediately upon completion of the inspection. |
Most property owners are aware of the strengths of the home, but unfortunately, most are unaware of the weak points. If an Owner is planning on making improvements to sell a home, a professional home inspection can help prioritize these improvements and offer suggestions for the best way to look at repairs. All owners would like to be aware of possible issues that could be used after the contract is written. By taking a pro-active approach, the owner can get ahead of the game by getting the issues resolved ahead of time. Why Use Hillview?...

The Inspection Process Demystified |
| By hiring a Hillview trained inspector, you will have an inspector that has only your best interests in mind. We will inspect both the interior and exterior - kitchens, bathrooms, electric, thermostats, A/C, heating, fireplaces, plumbing, attics, crawlspaces, structure, grounds, drainage, roof - everything. |
| All clients are urged to attend the entire inspection process. You will not be asked to accompany the inspector on the roof or in attics or crawlspaces, for safety reasons. You will be provided with a custom report in a binder prepared by the home inspector on-site at the end of the inspection. A follow-up summary report with detailed digital photos will be emailed within 24-48 hours of the inspection. The report will define what is wrong, why it is wrong, what to do about it and possible useful upgrades to property systems. Your Hillview Home Inspector will guide you through the inspection process so that you can rest assured you have guaranteed both your investment and your safety. What is a Home Inspection?... |

Tips for
Buyers and Sellers
|
|
Buyers:
You’ve finally found the home of your dreams, 3 bedrooms, attached garage, and a great neighborhood. You fix sights on the freshly painted walls, new carpeting, beautiful cabinets and a huge back yard. What are you forgetting? Everything else! Don’t forget about the plumbing, heating, A/C, electrical, insulation, ventilation, exterior and roof. These are the most overlooked items because most people know very little about these things, or what to look for. You decide to make an offer on the home.
What’s next? Don’t forget about getting the home inspected. Choosing an Inspector... |
Sellers:
Most homebuyers hire a home inspector, and more than likely that home inspector will find fault with something, whether it be something major like the foundation or a minor issue such as loose tile. However, situations like this can be avoided or their impact greatly reduced with a pre-sale home inspection. Just as a homebuyer’s inspection is for the buyer’s peace of mind, the pre-sale home inspection is for the seller’s peace of mind. A pre-sale home inspection can provide the seller with a list of key items likely to be revealed by the buyer’s home inspection and give them time to find acceptable and affordable remedies to them prior to showing. In short, it gives the seller a glimpse into the future of the sale. Pre-Sale Inspections... |
